@Haiko - EXACTLY what I thought, burning it seemed pretty extreme and disrespecful even then. But it does make sense not to keep lying around a worn and torn copy of an important book that is so prone to misinterpretation.

OK tell me why they teach us to recite the Quran rather than know the meaning of it?:S I know there are translations but why dont they teach that when we are young? Cause Im pretty sure god would want us to know the meaning of it rather than learn how to recite it? Is there something they dont want us to know in the Quran?:S
