Unjustified arrest of a President

Gayyoom and the rest of the coup regime has proved themselves to be on par with the worst dictators of Africa and the Middle East.

Not a single case of police brutality has been investigated. Police Chief Riyaz had come out and said that no police officer would ever be investigated for their crimes.

Police officers who joined forces with gangs (of which there is clear video evidence) on February 7th to destroy MDP property and storm MNBC ONE headquarters remain free of any charges. There are no investigations underway to bring anybody on the side of the current government to justice.

And yet they have the fucking nerve to talk of freedom, fairness, and independence. They have the fucking nerve to lie to our faces and say that they are upholding the law.

The coup government will protect the corrupt judges at the expense of the common citizen. These dogs will reside over your cases, and they will tell your children to reenact their sexually abusive experiences for their sick entertainment. They will dismiss any pending court case which could cause Gay-yoom and his dear friends an inconvenience.

But if an MDP-aligned official so much as buys a fucking tie on state expense, it's off to the courts with them!

They have the fucking nerve to open their fucking mouths and use religion to play with our emotions while they rob us of our rights and justice.

Let it be known now, if it was not known before, that the coup regime has proved themselves to be above the law. They have no right to speak of democracy and justice. Most importantly, they have no right to rule a country.

As the coup regime celebrates their victory, they know full well that these actions will come back to haunt our country. But they don't care about that. Why should they? Because it is us who will have to suffer for it, not them.

The only difference between Gayyoom and the military dictators in Africa is Genocide; Gayyoom hasn't gone that far yet.

....No, Gayyoom. That is not a fucking compliment.

I beg the Maldivian people not to elect these motherfuckers into office next year. Think of your children!

These are words unfit to come from the representative of President's Office - a President who is supposedly seeking political reconciliation.
